ENM approves plan for shutting down wastewater plant
The Elko New Market City Council approved a study on the decommissioning of its wastewater treatment facility.
The plan will now be forwarded to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for approval.
The plant is expected to be shut down this fall. Wastewater from the city will go to a Metropolitan Council facility in Dakota County. For more information see the February 3, 2011, print edition of The New Prague Times.
