ENM to consider social host ordinance

The Elko New Market City Council will consider adopting a Social Host Ordinance at its Thursday, March 11, meeting.

The council placed the item on the agenda for discussion and possible adoption of the document.

Scott County Sheriff Kevin Studnicka, Attorney Pat Ciliberto and Medical Director Dr. Mike Wilcox gave a presentation on the ordinance at the council's Thursday, Feb. 11, meeting.

Scott County enacted the ordinance last year, and most of the cities in the county have also adopted the ordinance.
