ENM Council interviews on Jan. 24

The Elko New Market City Council will hold interviews to fill an open council seat at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24.

The city received applications from Brandon Prasnicki, Robert Brooks and Brad Smith to fill the position. Until recently Tony Gabriel, who was elected mayor this past November, held the seat. One of the three applicants will fill the remaining two years on the position. The council will have the option to appoint someone during its January 24 meeting or defer the action to its Thursday, Feb. 14, meeting.
