ENM interim police chief resigns
The Elko New Market City Council accepted the resignation of interim Police Chief Craig Anderson during its Thursday, March 11 meeting. Anderson is a retired police chief who served in Minnetrista and St. Bonifacius. Had he continued as interim chief it would have adversely affected his retirement benefits.
Officer Eve Rudolph was appointed acting chief by the council, which will hold a special meeting Tuesday, March 30, to interview finalists for the police chief position.
For full details on the meeting, see the March 18 print edition of The Times.
