ENM senior housing/library plan moves forward
At its September 23 meeting, the Elko New Market City Council set a public hearing for Thursday, Oct. 14, to take comments on a proposed senior housing complex that would include a public library.
The development, called Market Village Residential Community, would have 49 senior housing units and a 4,000 square-foot library. It would be located south of Scott County Road 2 (Elko New Market's Main Street) and west of J. Roberts Way.
The city would finance the project, which is being developed by the Scott County Community Development Agency (CDA).
