Enrollment jumps 3.8 percent at New Prague Schools

Enrollment at New Prague Area Schools has gone up 3.8 percent from a year ago, based on initial enrollment figures from the district.

Enrollment also jumped 14.1 percent at Holy Cross Catholic School, which opened a new, centralized building near Webster to replace smaller schools in Lonsdale, New Market and Veseli. These figures are preliminary and subject to change.

Middle school up 5.4 %

The biggest increase in students was at New Prague Middle School, where enrollment went up 5.4 percent from a year ago.
