Entrants 'light up' their homes in lighting contest

Six nominees were received in the annual Night of the Lights house-lighting contest, sponsored by ReMax Dynamic Associates of New Prague.

Of those six, the John Pavek home at 1413 Seventh St. Court SE was named Best Overall by judges, who viewed the homes Monday, Dec. 17.

The Rob Gilder home at 501 E Main St. won the prize for Best Theme.

Entrants were Rob Gilder - 501 E Main Street; Doug Eichhorst - 113 Pershing Ave N; Ethan Unger - 200 4th Ave SW; Darren & Jenny Malz - 111 1st Street SW; Julie Ferris - 624 2nd Street NW; and John Pavek- 1413 7th St Court SE.
