Family-friendly spring play set for NPHS

Anyone wanting to find out what classes are like with a group of colorful students and teachers can find out when New Prague High School stages Sideways Stories from Wayside School.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 26 and 27, at the high school auditorium.

If the play sounds familiar, it was the school's 2010 one-act competition under the direction of Ben Thietje. He is also directing this production, his first as director for the spring play.

Thietje explained that due to having a little less time to prepare he decided to do the full version of the family-friendly comedy, which allows him to include more students.
