Father Elgar celebrating 65th anniversary Sunday

Parishioners of St. John's Union Hill and St. Benedict churches will honor Father Elgar Bockenfeld on Sunday, June 21, as he celebrates the 65th anniversary of his ordination into the priesthood.

Members of the two Catholic churches will meet for a 10 a.m. Mass at St. John's Union Hill Church. Following the service, an open house will be held at the KC Hall in New Prague with a buffet dinner to be served from noon to 4 p.m.
