Filing period for city council begins Aug. 30

Filings for the New Prague City Council will begin on Monday, Aug. 30. The filing period will last until September 14.

Seats up for election this year are those held by Mayor Craig S. Sindelar and council members Jim Kratochvil and Duane Jirik. Kratochvil said he is undecided whether he will file and Mayor Sindelar said he will definitely be filing.
