Floor hockey team drops 2
The New Prague Trojan adapted floor hockey team closed its regular season with two losses.
New Prague lost to Dakota United 10-2 and South Suburban 12-2.
The Trojans finished fifth in Southern Division and will take on the fourth-place finisher from the Northern Division with a berth in the state tournament on the line. The Trojans will travel to Wayzata High School to face Wayzata/Minnetonka at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 12. The winner advances to the state tournament March 20 and 21 at Bloomington Jefferson High School.

The Trojans had goals from Anna Busch, who scored on an assist from Adam Jeurissen in the first period, and Eric Johnson, who scored unassisted in the second.
Jets 12, Trojans 2
South Suburban had 113 shots on goal, and Marcus Schoenbauer had 101 saves. New Prague goals were scored by Busch and DJ Gilder, both unassisted.
The Trojans were battling illness last week and that affected how they played in both of these games.
