Floor hockey team earns split
The New Prague High School adapted floor hockey team split a pair of games over the past week. The Trojans defeated Hudson, WI, 12-3 and lost to Dakota United 11-6.
The Trojans (4-2) were scheduled to play Burnsville/Farmington/Lake-ville Wednesday, Feb. 9. They will travel to Owatonna Monday, Feb. 14, and to Winona on Wednesday, Feb. 16.

New Prague scored seven goals in the first period and dominated play as they defeated Hudson 12-3 on Thursday, Feb. 3.
Ten different players figured in the scoring for New Prague. Matthew Schoenbauer had four goals and two assists, Alex Palma and DJ Gilder both had two goals and an assist, Philip Weber had two goals, Stephanie Hayden had two assists and Marcus Schoenbauer and Kayla Doran both had two goals while Sam Bisek and Eric Johnson each had two assists.
Marcus Schoenbauer had 13 saves and Brandon Taylor six for New Prague, who outshot Hudson 84-22.
