Francis Ademmer, 76,
Francis B. Fritz Ademmer, 76, of New Prague, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at the Mala Strana Health Care Center in New Prague.
He was born December 27, 1933, at Heidelberg, a son of Frank and Ella (Prochaska) Ademmer. A lifelong resident of the Heidelberg/New Prague area, Fritz attended Montgomery High School. He married Stella Dircks on June 23, 1956, at New Market. He was a co-owner/operator of Acme Construction in Minneapolis, farmed near Heidelberg and ran a milk route, and also worked at Green Giant in Montgomery and Nordic Track in Belle Plaine.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter Cindy (Ken) Rynda, Shakopee; three grandchildren Paul (Amanda) Rynda, Eden Prairie, David Rynda (and fiance Erin Buss), Shakopee and Ashley Rynda, Shakopee; a brother Gerald (Mary) Ademmer, Heidelberg; a sister Mary Schoenecker, New Prague; and mother-in-law Edna Weckman, New Prague.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother in infancy.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 27, at 11 a.m., at St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Heidelberg, with Rev. David Barrett officiating.
Interment was at the St. Scholastica Cemetery in Heidelberg. Pallbearers were Ken Rynda, Paul Rynda, Dave Swedin, David Rynda, David Ademmer, James Schoenecker and Ray Dircks.
Visitation was held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Arrangements were with the Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague.
