Francis Mueller
Francis Gerhardt Mueller, 97, of Prior Lake, but living in Hutchinson, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at the Hutchinson Area Health Care Center.
Francis was born April 10, 1911, in Webster, a son of Otto W. and Martha (Beuch) Mueller. He married Mildred M. Zaun on August 8, 1936. Mildred died on May 5, 1976. A farmer for 50 years, he was a member of the Prior Lake Lions Club, Fish Lake Lutheran Church, and sang in the male choir for the church. Francis married Leona Felepe on November 7, 1980.
He is survived by his wife; children William F. (Karen) Mueller, Bloomington, Darlene (Mueller) Pakonen, Ironwood, MI, Charleen (Jerry) Block, Hutchinson and Darrel Danek, Minnesota; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; brothers Norman, Rudolph and Donald; sisters Irene Wangerin and Luella Barnick.
Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 27, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Fish Lake, Prior Lake, with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Harald Schoubye presiding.
Interment will be at the Fish Lake Lutheran Cemetery, Prior Lake. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Mueller, John Pakonen, Richard Zaun, Jerry Block, Dwayne Wangerin and Gary Mueller. Honorary pallbearers will be Cory and Cody Rosales.
Arrangements are with the Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home in Prior Lake.
