Frank Turek, 76
Frank Ivan Turek, 76, of Montgomery, died Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague.
Frank was born February 4, 1932, in Montgomery, a son of Frank M. and Anna F. (Flicek) Turek. He was a 1951 graduate of Montgomery High School and then served in the United States Air Force as an Airman 3rd Class from July 1952 until July 1956 and again from October 9, 1959 until June 30, 1960. Frank was a member of Montgomery American Legion Post #79.
He is survived by three sisters Harriet (Allen) Bartyzal, Shakopee, Eva (Harmon) Tracy, Plymouth and Alice Mariska, New Prague; and two brothers Alvin (Bea) Turek, Shakopee and Richard (Bonnie) Turek, Austin, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Ben, Steve, George and Ray Turek; and sisters Irene Gaydon, Lillian Valek, Ann Trenda, Catherine Donnelly and Milly Kukachka.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, at 11 a.m., at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery, with Rev. Cory Rohlfing officiating and military honors provided by the Montgomery Area Veteran's Honor Guard.
Burial will be at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Montgomery.
Visitation will be held Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery.
