Friday night Trojan sports update

The New Prague Trojan wrestling team defeated Scott West for the first time in 15 years Friday, but it didn't come easy. The Trojans trailed the entire meet, and won the final three matches, two by fall, to take a 28-27 win. Zach Lafavor got the winning pin in the second period of his match at 285 pounds.

The Trojan gymnastics team lost its showdown with Missota Conference rival Northfield, with the Raiders prevailing by .75 points, 144.825-144.075.

The Trojan girls basketball team defeated Northfield 47-36.
