Gary Stage, 51
Gary Lee Stage, 51, of St. Croix Falls, WI, formerly of New Prague, died unexpectedly on January 25, 2010, in Polk County, WI.
Born on September 10, 1958, in Shakopee, he was the son of Gordon and Patricia (Hammerschmidt) Stage. Gary was a big strong man with a heart of gold personality who loved the outdoors and his family. Love of his life was riding horses and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He enjoyed spending his time bow hunting, fishing, weight lifting and winter camping with his son.
Survivors include his children, Shannon Rose of Elko New Market and Nicholas (Joan) Stage of Lonsdale, and their mother, Carolyn Stage of New Prague; grandchildren Preston James Stage and Anna Melissa Stage; siblings, Rick (Darlene) Stage, Kathy Rogers, Jeff (Joni) Stage, Kelly (Robin) Stage, Sue (Tom) Laqua all of Wisconsin; special friends, Dorothy Sveback of Wisconsin, Dallas (RaeAnn) Steffen of Belle Plaine and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Urn bearers will be his two children, Shannon and Nicholas.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 30, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, 833 S. Marschall Road in Shakopee, with visitation two hours prior to the service. The Rev. John Lapensky will officiate.
