Girls’ shooting leads to loss against Watertown-Mayer

 

The Tri-City United girls basketball team tried to pull it together against Watertown-Mayer at home on Thursday, Dec. 13, but the Royals crushed the Titans 57-36.

According to the Maxpreps website, Alyshia Angileno and Coley Selly each lead the team with 9 points. They were followed by Annie McCrady and Megan Steffen 7 each. Chelsey Walerius and Danielle Angileno each added 2.
Alyshia Angileno and Edith Martinez each pulled down 6 rebounds, followed by Coley Selly’s 4, Megan Steffen’s 4, and Danielle Angileno and Molly Ehlers with 3 each, and Chelsey  Walerius  with 2.
The Titans were 13 for 37  in two-point shots, and 3 for 12  for three-point shots. The team was 1 in 5 for free throws.
 
Next Action
The Titan took on Sibley East on Tuesday, Dec. 18. Tonight they travel to United South Central.
