Girls fall to 1-3 in Missota play

The New Prague Trojan girls basketball team finds itself in an unfamiliar position in the Missota Conference standings.

The three-time defending Missota champions are near the bottom with a 1-3 record in the conference and 9-8 overall after losing Missota games to Prior Lake and Northfield and beating Albert Lea in a non-conference game. The three losses is one more than the Trojans had in the last three years combined.

While the Trojans are 1-3, coach Ron Gunderson said the team is playing well.
