Girls fall to 'Tonka, Hopkins

The New Prague Trojan girls basketball team is in the midst of some tough competition, and it is showing on their record.

After starting the season 4-0, the Trojans dropped their third straight game to a Class AAAA school Saturday, losing to No. 1-ranked Hopkins 77-38.

Earlier in the week the Trojans fell by three points to a strong Minnetonka squad. A week earlier they lost to Eastview (No. 5, Class AAAA).

New Prague (4-3, No. 7 Class AAA) was scheduled to host Holy Family Catholic Tuesday, Dec. 21, after this edition of The New Prague Times went to press.
