Girls golf team wins pair of meets

The New Prague Trojan girls golf team is the No. 2-ranked team in the state in all classes, and they played that way in two meets last week.

New Prague finished on top of a Missota Conference meet at Fountain Valley Golf Club, then dominated the field in their home invitational meet Friday, April 23.

In the April 24 state ratings, Minnewaska Area, a Class AA team, was ranked No. 1, with New Prague (Class AAA) ranked No. 2.

Steffi Neisen of New Prague is ranked No. 2 in the state in Class AAA, trailing only defending state champ Betsy Kelly of Forest Lake.
