Girls hockey shut out twice

The New Prague High School girls hockey team continues to struggle offensively. The Trojans were shut out twice last week by two of the top teams in the Missota Conference, Shakopee and Holy Angels.

New Prague (4-12-1, 0-5-1 Missota) hosted Hutchinson Tuesday, Jan. 13. On Friday the team travels to Northfield for a 7:30 p.m. game, then they return home to play Farmington Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Sabers 4, Trojans 0

New Prague kept things close, trailing 1-0 after one period, but the Sabers scored twice late in the second period on their way to a 4-0 win over New Prague.
