Girls to take on Belle Plaine in first round of playoffs

The Tri-City United Titan Girls Basketball Team will take on the Belle Plaine Tigers in the first round of the Section 2AA tournament on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

The Titans, #6 seed, will battle the Tigers, #3 seed, in Belle Plaine on Tuesday. The Titans hold a 5-21 record, and the Tigers are at 9-15.

The Titans lost to the Tigers on two previous attempts: on January 15, 50-77, and again on February 15,  42-65.

The winner of the round will play the winner of #7 seed Le Sueur Henderson and #2 seed Kenyon-Wanamingo at Northfield High School on March 1.
