Group voices concerns at packed board meeting
A group of concerned citizens voiced their concerns about the direction of the New Prague Area School Board during the Open Forum portion of a board meeting Monday, March 28.
Those speaking in front of a packed board room expressed concern about the board members' actions in recent months, including an alleged violation of the state's open meeting law, lack of action when a staff member allegedly illegally intercepted disclosed the contents of an email from another employee and charges that the board overstepped its role as defined by the Minnesota School Board's Association.
