Groups strive to celebrate Czech culture

New Prague is proud of its Czech background. There are many people who work hard to share and preserve the beauty of the Czech legacy by forming the Czech Heritage and Social Club and the New Prague Czech Singers, groups that hope to keep the memories of the past alive for future generations to enjoy.

The New Prague Czech Heritage and Social Club was formed in the fall of 2000. Marian Topic was one of the founders. She has been teaching Czech language classes locally for more than 15 years, and the club was born out of these classes.
