Grover-McKenzie

Scott and Kathryn Blixt, Montgomery, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katlyn Ann McKenzie (daughter of the late Donald McKenzie) to Robert Steven Grover, son of Donald Grover, Amboy, and Dee Thomas, Henderson.

The couple first met in 2000 while attending high school in Henderson. They now live in Mankato.

Katlyn graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in psychology/special education. This school year she will complete her doctoral degree in school psychology. She is employed as a school psychologist in the Mankato Area School District.

Robert is completing his bachelors degree in earth science education at Minnesota State University-Mankato. He recently returned from a yearlong military deployment in the Middle East.

A December 2012 wedding is planned.
