Gruenhagen receives Republican nod in 25A

District 25A Republicans meeting in New Prague Tuesday endorsed Glen Gruenhagen of Glencoe for the House seat being vacated by Rep. Laura Brod (R-New Prague).

Gruenhagen, a member of the Glencoe-Silver Lake School Board, won on the second ballot over Tony DeLuca and Rolando Perez, both of New Prague. All three candidates agreed prior to the convention to abide by the endorsement process.

District 25A includes all of Le Sueur County and parts of Sibley and Scott counties. Local DFLers have endorsed Montgomery Mayor Mick McGuire for the office.
