Gymnasts will try to defend True Team title Saturday at Melrose

New Prague will try to defend the Minnesota Girls Gymnastics Coaches Association State Class A True Team gymnastics title Saturday at Melrose.

The Trojans are the four-time defending champion at the meet. Last year, they prevailed by 15 one-hundredths of a point over Melrose, at the meet held in New Prague. The 10 top-ranked teams in Class A gymnastics are invited to the meet.

The True Team meet will be part of a busy week for the Trojans, one that will see them compete five times in eight days as they wind down their regular season. On Friday, they compete at Farmington.
