Half Marathon draws large crowd despite poor weather

The New Prague Half Marathon had a decent showing on Saturday, May 14, despite the wet and cold weather conditions. Early numbers indicated 1,240 race registrants, (excluding the relay teams), and 1,045 runners completed the race.

Winning in the men’s overall division was Patrick Russell of Duluth, who finished the race in 1 hour, 8 minutes and 1 second. It was not quite a minute short of the course record of 1:07:09, set by Eric Hartmark of Roseville last year.

It was a personal best
