Harry Dynes, 74

Harry J. Buzz Dynes, 74, of St. Paul, formerly of Kilkenny, died Saturday, April 17, 2010, in St. Paul.

He was born on June 2, 1935, at Faribault, a son of James J. and Jane Mary Jenny (Hagerty) Dynes of Kilkenny. He graduated from Montgomery High School, attended the Minnesota School of Business and was married to Agnes Rogers. Buzz was a court reporter in Ramsey County for 39 years, and a member of the Holy Childhood Church and Choir in St. Paul. He was known as the King Kolacky Baker.

He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years; daughters Mary (Milton), Anne (and fiancé Jason); sons, Joseph, David and Patrick (Jennifer); a granddaughter Kalley; grandsons Justin, Lee, Sabastian, Robert and Dutch; a sister Marion (Roy) Loftus, California; and many relatives and friends in the area, including Montgomery and New Prague.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother Dutch; and brother Rev. Leo Dynes.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, April 22, at 10 a.m., at Holy Childhood Church in St. Paul.

Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Kilkenny.

Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Roseville Memorial Chapel in Roseville.
