Helen-Mar Miller, 84, of Cincinnati, OH, died Monday, March 31, 2008, at the Mt. Washington Care Center in Cincinnati.
She was born October 14, 1923, in Columbus, OH. Helen received her teaching degree from the University of Cincinnati and her Masters of Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She taught in Cincinnati, Gatlinburg and Virginia Beach as an elementary school teacher and reading specialist.
She is survived by her son Dr. Milan Schmidt, Montgomery; her sister Jean Floyd, Cincinnati, OH; and two granddaughters Mattine Schmidt Hartzell and Rebecca Schmidt.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Dundas at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3.
