Holiday parade moves to Friday

This year's Holiday Parade of Lights in New Prague will be held on Friday, Dec. 5. In past years, the parade has been held on Thursdays.

The New Prague Chamber moved this year's parade to Friday to avoid a conflict with the Montgomery Torchlight Parade. Normally New Prague's parade is held the first Thursday in December and the Torchlight Parade in Montgomery is held the Thursday after Thanksgiving. This year those dates coincide. Because a number of groups participate in both parades, New Prague's parade was moved to Friday.
