Installation ceremony for Gen. Nash is Monday

Major General Richard Nash will be installed as the adjutant general of the Minnesota National Guard during a ceremony at the state capitol Monday, Nov. 1.

Nash, a New Prague resident, was appointed to the position in September. He has been commander for two successful foreign deployments, one with a peacekeeping force in Bosnia, and the other a one-year tour commanding the Red Bulls division of the Minnesota National Guard in Iraq. He returned home from that assignment in February of this year.
