It has been raining threes for the WEM girls hoops team

The WEM girls basketball hit a school record 12 three-pointers in a 71-69 loss to Triton Thursday, Feb. 9. Tuesday the Lady Bucs nearly upset Class A No. 5 rated Mankato Loyola, dropping a 62-60 decision to the Crusaders. In this game, WEM nailed 11 more three pointers in 30 attempts. WEM, 10-13 overall, host Medford Friday, Feb. 17, play at St. Peter Tuesday, Feb. 21, and end their regular season Thursday, Feb. 23 at Maple River.
