Ivan Sladek, 75

   Ivan Raymond Sladek, 75, Montgomery, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at his home in Montgomery.

   Ivan was born on December 18, 1936, in New Prague to Raymond and Alice (Lestina) Sladek.

   He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching football, NASCAR, the Minnesota Twins, gardening, canning and spending time with his grandson.

   Ivan is survived by children Joyce (Mike Zinke) Sladek, Le Center, Jeff (Judy Revier) Sladek,  Montgomery; grandchild Christian Sladek; sister, Irene Moravec, New Prague; brothers, Ronnie Sladek, Le Center, Kenny (Donna) Sladek, Le Center, Joe (Dee) Sladek, Le Center, and Art Sladek, Montgomery.

   Ivan was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters-in-law, Delaine and Frannie Sladek.

   Visitation was held Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home, Montgomery.

   A funeral service was held Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012. at St. John Lutheran Church,  Montgomery, with visitation at the church one hour prior to the services.

   Burial was held at Bohemian National Cemetery in Montgomery.

            Arrangements were made with Schoenbauer Funeral Home, Montgomery.
