Ivan Turek, 80

Ivan J. Turek, 80, of Montgomery, died on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at his home. Ivan was born on June 7, 1932, a son of Joseph and Anna Turek. He married Marion Trnka on September 27, 1952, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lonsdale. Ivan farmed in the Montgomery area. He is survived by children Joe Turek, Montgomery, and Joann Adams, Montgomery; six grandchildren Josephine Anderson, Heather Marovich, Ryan Adams, Dawn Adams, Jason Barnett and Holli Turek; nine greatgrandchildren Drew, Dylan, Cassie, Kali, Alexus, Keona, Mikayla, Logan and Jordan; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on April 16, 2012; a son Jeff in 2009; two brothers and one sister. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny on Friday, Nov. 9, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Boldt Funeral Home in Faribault.
