James Chlan, 45
James E. Chlan, 45, of Apple Valley, died on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006.
He was born on August 27, 1960, in Northfield City Hospital in Northfield to James and Evelyn Chlan. Jim grew up in Elko and attended the New Market, Veseli and Lonsdale Catholic School and Lakeville Public Schools from where he graduated.
On September 12, 1981, he married Donna Roiger. He was employed at Under Ground Supply in Jordan as a welder.
Jim is survived by his wife; children, Jeremy and Jaclyn; parents; brothers, Bernie, Dan (Tami), and Joe (Sheri) Chlan; sisters, Jane (Todd) Kniefel, Aggie (Todd) Holliday; parents-in-law, Francis and June Roiger; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (Fairview Ridges Campus) in Burnsville.
Pallbearers were his brothers, Bernie, Dan and Joe Chlan, and his brothers-in-law, Ron, John and Jim Roiger.
Interment was at Castle Rock Valley Cemetery in Castle Rock Township.
Visitation was held on Sunday, Jan. 8, from 1 to 4 p.m at White Funeral Home in Apple Valley and one hour prior to the service at church.
