Jayne Mary Malecha, 68
Jayne Mary Malecha, 68, of Lonsdale, died Thursday, April 17, 2008, at the Northfield Hospital.
Jayne was born December 16, 1939, in Ramsey County. She married Leonard Malecha on August 25, 1959, in Veseli. She was very active in the Lonsdale community and was a member of the Lonsdale American Legion Auxiliary and Association For Retarded Children (A.R.C.).
She is survived by her husband of 48 years; children Mark (Julie) Malecha, Sandy McDonald, Mary Lu (Terry) Bastyr, Danny (Abi) Malecha and Sonia Jane Malecha; nine grandchildren Candis, Lindsay and Bradley Bastyr, Ashley Malecha, Kimberly Jirik, David Hoffman, Serena, Justin and Morgan Jayne Malecha; great-grandson Noah Braith; and a brother David (Beverly) Glem.
She was preceded in death by two children Debbie and Duane Malecha; and her parents, Joseph and Mary Svoboda.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 21, at 10 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lonsdale, with Rev. Troy Przybilla officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial.
Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Lonsdale. Pallbearers were Candis, Lindsay and Bradley Bastyr, Frank Novak Jr., David Hoffman, Ashley Malecha and Kimberly Jirik.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the White Funeral Home in Lonsdale and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
