Jayne Olson, 54
Jayne M. Olson, 54, of Belle Plaine, formerly of Jordan, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, at her home.
Jayne was born in Shakopee on Christmas Day in 1958, Jayne was a daughter of Jerome and Lorraine (Wolff) Lano. She was raised and attended school in Chaska. On August 14, 1979, she married Tim Olson in Champlin. They first made their home in Jordan, then moved to Belle Plaine in 1989. Jayne spent many years in the restaurant business, where she dedicated herself to putting smiles on customers' faces. She enjoyed her family and friends, as well as motorcycles, birds, wildlife, playing cribbage and her Boston terrier “Chopper.”
She is survived by children Jeremiah (Jessica) Olson, Rachel Olson (and Skip Foline), and Tony Olson; a sister Judy (Gary) Birkholm; nephew Chris Birkholm; grandchildren Ayana, Temperance, Sawyer Olson and Alex Bjerke.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers Jay and Jeff; and her parents.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, July 25, starting at 4 p.m., at the Belle Plaine Vets Club.
Funeral arrangements are with the Wagner Funeral Home of Belle Plaine.
