Jerome Eischens, 65
Jerome E. Eischens, 65, of Prior Lake, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at his home.
Jerome was born April 30, 1943, at New Market, a son of Martin and Caroline (Schoenecker) Eischens. He married Ann Ruzicka on April 15, 1972, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague. Jerome lived in the area his entire life. His mother owned the St. Patrick Store and he worked at Robin Hood/Con Agra in New Prague.
He is survived by his wife; sister Luella Tritz, South St. Paul; brothers Harold (Katherine) Eischens, Topia, Br. Ambrose Eischens, OFM, Louisville, KY and Walter (Jeannie) Eischens; Jordan; and many nieces nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers LeRoy Eischens and Gerald Eischens; and a sister Bernadine (Ladimir) Benes.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, June 2, at 11 a.m., at The Church of St. Michael in Prior Lake.
Interment was at the Credit River Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mel Hoagen, Butch Eischens, Lad Benes, Marty Benes, Mike Eischens, Randy Tritz, Dale Tuma and Gary Plekkenpol.
Visitation was held Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home in Prior Lake, and Monday at the church one hour prior to the services.
