Amy Scheffert and Ted Jirik, both of Lonsdale, were united in marriage on September 16, 2016 at A’BULAE in St. Paul. The 5 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Jim Albany.


Amy is the daughter of Mike Scheffert, and Doug and Karen Gjerstad of Montgomery. Ted is the son of Greg and Kathy Jirik, of Lonsdale.


Amy’s father, Mike, escorted his daughter down the aisle. Megan Pelowski, friend of the bride from Montgomery, was maid of honor. The flower girl was Ted’s neice, Charlotte Jirik, New Prague. 

Ted’s best man was his best friend, Matt Sevcik, of Lonsdale. The ring bearer was Amy’s nephew, Jack Scheffert, Lonsdale. 


The couple held their reception at A’BULAE, and are making their home in Lonsdale.


Amy graduated from Montgomery-Lonsdale High School in 2007 and from Rasmussen College in June, 2016. She is employed as a registered nurse at Mayo Clinic in New Prague and Northfield Hospital and Clinics.


Ted graduated from New Prague High School in 2007, then attended Dunwoody College of Technology. He is employed with Lonsdale Construction.
