Jordan overpowers the Titans

 

The Tri-City United Titans dropped a conference game to Jordan on January 17 in Montgomery with a score of 45-86.
The Titans were plagued by shooting errors. In the first  half of the game they made 8 out of 31 shots or 25 percent. In the second half, they improved slightly with 9-20 or 45 percent. The Titans ended with a percentage of 33 percent.
Leading scorers for TCU were Andrew Feddema with 9, followed by Alex Turgeon, Hunter Hinze and Aaron Dwyer with 5 each. Ryan Iverson and Jordan Trnka each added 4.
In contrast Jordan sank 50 percent of their shots in the first half and 69 percent of their shots in the second, for a game-ending total of 57 percent.
Jake Anderson from Jordan sank 25 points, followed by Nake Beckman with 17 and Alex Vollbrecht with 11.
TCU’s Charlie Simonette lead the team in rebounds, pulling down 4. Following were David Trcka and Ryan Iverson with 3 each.
The loss leaves the Titans looking for its first conference win of the season. The team, with an overall record of 3-10, has recorded wins to Medford, Blooming Prairie and Cannon Falls. 
Their next shot at a conference win comes on Tuesday, Jan. 22, when they take on Belle Plaine with its 7-6 overall record and 3-2 conference record. The game will take place in Belle Plaine.
