Joubert starts her career as horse race jockey

The riders filed steadily into the jockeys' room after the fifth race on Saturday, May 12, dusty and hot, some of them still breathing heavily. It is a routine part of riding, the walk back after a race, routine for everyone but Jenna Joubert, who was riding in the first race of what she hopes is a long and rewarding career.

The whole experience took place so quickly that it left Joubert's head spinning.
