Judy Ruzicka, 68
Judy M. Ruzicka, 68, of New Prague, died Thursday, August 6, 2009, at her home.
Born December 4, 1940, at Waterville, Judy was a daughter of Dick and Opal (Gish) Rah. She attended Waterville Elementary School and Waldorf High School. She married Ambrose Adams on January 9, 1960, in Waldorf. After her husband died on January 7, 1994, she moved to Waseca in 1995. She worked for Brown Printing in Waseca for over 25 years. Judy moved to New Prague in 2001 and married Francis Fritz Ruzicka on August 30, 2002, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, golf, traveling (winter home in Texas), traveling overseas, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband; children Suzanne (Dean) Harris, North Mankato, David (Amy) Adams, Minneiska, Dennis Adams, St. Charles and Stephanie (and special friend David Kern) Clark, New Prague; brother Darl (Mary) Rah, Lonsdale; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; stepchildren Linda (Glen) Bauer, Belle Plaine, Teri (Tim) Larson, New Prague and Michael (Annette) Ruzicka, New Prague; and eight step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband; and her parents.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 8, at 11 a.m., at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague, with Rev. Kevin Clinton officiating.
Interment was at the Waldorf Community Cemetery in Waldorf.
Visitation was held from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague.
