Judy Vlasak, 64
Judy A. Vlasak, 64, of Montgomery, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at her home.
Born January 27, 1944, at Hendricks, she was a daughter of Hank and Irene (Hulesbus) Franken. She graduated from Dubrick High School in White, SD, and married Clayton Vlasak on September 18, 1971, at Morristown. They moved to Montgomery after marriage and Judy had worked at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague as a surgical nurse, and then at Peoples Savings & Loan in New Prague. After becoming disabled, she worked out of her home. Judy loved feeding and watching birds, working word puzzles and visiting with friends.
She is survived by her husband; children Robin Denison, New Prague and Randy Denison, Encampment, WY; stepson Chris (Kim) Vlasak, Faribault; her mother; a sister Eunice (Clarence) Simmons, White, SD; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m., at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery, with Rev. David Barrett officiating.
Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery. Pallbearers were Nicholas May, Andrew Maxa, Henry Denison, Kyle Denison, Michael Vlasak and Ryan Vlasak.
Visitation was held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home.
