Julia Lexa, 95

Julia Rose Lexa, 95, of Webster, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at the Mala Strana Health Care Center in New Prague.

She was born on October 25, 1914, in Lonsdale, a daughter of Tom and Julia Voracek.

She is survived by children Adrienne Skluzacek and Jeanette (Arnie) Tupy; 13 grandchildren; 31 great- grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Bonnie Lexa; brother Thomas G. Voracek; sister Martha Madera; also by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur G. Lexa Sr.; a son Art D. Lexa; great-grandchildren Nicholas Tupy and Nicki Marie Verhoeven; siblings Mary (James) Kubes, Helen (Barney) Amundsen; brother and sister-in-laws Geraldine Voracek and Edmund Madera; and son-in-law Albert Skluzacek.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 26, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lonsdale.

Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Lonsdale. Pall- bearers were Dale Tupy, Marvin Skluzacek, Donald Skluzacek, Michael Lexa, Jacob Skluzacek and Jason Skluzacek.

Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the White Funeral Home in Lonsdale, and also at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
