Katherine Worm, 93

Katherine Frances Worm, 93, of Jordan, died on Friday, August 14, 2009, at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine.

Born on August 21, 1915, she was a daughter of George and Mary (Lucas) Mais. Katherine married Joseph August Worm on June 9, 1937, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan. She was a dedicated Catholic, passionate gardener, extremely hard

worker, crafter and excellent cook. Flower and vegetable gardening were her passion. Her farm was known as the Fall Flower Farm because of the acre of flowers she would tend to every day.
