Kay Thomas Kukacka, 89
Kay Thomas Kukacka, 89, of Warsaw, died on Friday, April 5, 2013, at the St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault.
Kay was born at Farmington on September 15, 1923, a daughter of Curren and Dorothy (Kraft) Delzelshe. She was a nurse, and was employed at the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center and in Owatonna. Later she owned and operated Doc’s Dock in Warsaw. She married Alvin Kukacka of Montgomery in South Dakota. They loved to dance, play cards and winter in Zaragoza, Mexico.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter Rosa Dominguez, Faribault; three grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; special friends Lori and Brian Schultz; and all of her friends from the campground.
She was preceded in death by her first husband John Thomas in 1993.
Funeral services were held at the Boldt Funeral Home in Faribault on Wednesday, April 10, at 10:30 a.m. Interment was at the Warsaw Cemetery.
Visitation was held at the Boldt Funeral Home on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service.
