Kilpatrick - Bothun
Renee M. Bothun, daughter of Thomas and Catherine Bothun of Minnetonka, and Michael J. Kilpatrick, son of Dr. Mike and Diana Kilpatrick of New Prague, were married Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Oak Hill Church in Bloomington, with Pastor Nick Mundis officiating.
Lectors were Becky Kilpatrick of St. Paul, cousin of the groom, and Ray Bothun of Eden Prairie, grandfather of the bride. Musicians were Michelle Crosby, pianist, Matthew Kunnari, violinist, Michael Johnson, cellist, and Robyn Kelly, vocalist.
The bride was escorted by her parents. Jenna Kilpatrick of Columbus, OH, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Johnson of Maple Grove and Brittany Sawyer of Burnsville. Grace Winge of Webster and Savannah Clark of Eden Prairie, cousins of the bride, were flower girls.
Jimmy Kilpatrick of New Prague, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Andy Bothun of Minnetonka, brother of the bride, and Nate Hill of Plymouth. Tony Bothun of Minnetonka, brother of the bride, was junior groomsman and Kaleb Clark of Eden Prairie, cousin of the bride, was ringbearer.
Ushers were Michael Johnson of Maple Grove, Brian Ameluxin, cousin of the bride, of St. Louis Park. Usherette was Micaela Mc- Cain of Lonsdale, cousin of the groom.
Heather Olson of Eden Prairie, Godmother of the bride, and Lisa Newinski of Shakopee, aunt of the groom, were the bride’s personal attendants.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the International Market Square in Minneapolis. The couple took a short post-wedding trip to the North Shore and is delaying their honeymoon until winter. The couple is residing in Shakopee.
The bride graduated in 2012 from the Art Institute International of Minnesota with a degree in interior design. She works for an architectural firm in Eden Prairie.
The groom received his RN nursing degree from Normandale Community College in 2012 and is a nurse manager in Golden Valley.
