Kolacky Days gets new royalty

The 79th annual Kolacky Days celebration kicked off with grand style at the Queen's Pageant held at the Tri-City United Auditorium on Friday, July 26. After a competition with five candidates, Allie Trnka, (center) daughter of Jon and Ronna Trnka, was crowned the 2013-14 Kolacky Days Queen. Kayla Trcka, (right) daughter of Bill and Christine Trcka of Lonsdale, received double honors and was crowned First Princess and Miss Congeniality.
